I am an Irish family doctor, living in West Cork, and my home is 100 yards from Berehaven Golf Club. I'm also a member at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club. My three main passions are family medicine, sports psychology and playing golf.  Some people would consider the last two to be afflictions !!! .
I've been playing golf for 30 years and have represented my club at many levels. I was honoured to have been made Captain in 1990, and President in 2005. I've been involved in sport all my life - playing soccer, rugby, tennis, squash, racquetball, badminton  but mostly golf !!!! .

As well as playing, I've also had a lifelong interest in sports psychology, pressure performance and the power of thinking positively. I have had the Yips myself (NB I use the PAST tense!) and so have direct insight into the devastating effect this terrible affliction can have on the ordinary club golfer.
